Dish moves AMC to channel 9609?  What?  The Hollywood Reporter has done an excellent job covering the blow by blow between Dish Network and AMC including Dish’s recent move to jam AMC in the 9000’s with the paid advertisements.  Oof.  Dish was responding to AMC’s anti-Dish ads during Mad Men.  The problem with including the audience in this type of negotiation is viewers couldn’t care any less about carriage fees.  They want content and if the networks and cable providers can’t deliver, they’ll get it online.  We’ll see who backs down first.  I think AMC’s got more to lose.
